MILITARY FAMILY RESOURCES
Bethel-Tate Local School District supports our local veterans and current military families. Every year, area veterans come to our schools on Veterans Day to be honored and celebrated by our staff and students.
In 2021, Bethel-Tate Middle School students worked with the local Kiwanis to place 100 flags in three locations throughout the community. These flags in the Fields of Honor honoring our veterans and military were in place for the month of November.
In November 2024, Bethel-Tate High School officially dedicated its Veterans Wall of Honor, which is proudly displayed in the BTHS Commons area. The Honor Wall is a tribute to Bethel-Tate High School graduates who have served in the U.S. Armed Services and to local first responders.
This project was an initiative of the BTHS National Honor Society. The NHS collaborated with the Bethel American Legion, Lions Club, and VFW on the project. Veterans are still invited to provide their name and a photograph for inclusion in the Veterans Wall of Honor by filling out the form at the following link - Veterans Honor Wall Form - Military pictures can be emailed to nhs@betheltate.org
Military Family Liaison for BTHS is Principal George Sturgeon.
