Students studying the solar system

Hill Intermediate School's 5th graders recently launched into an exciting Space Day to celebrate the start of their new unit of study and World Space Week, observed globally from October 4th-10th.

Students engaged in hands-on learning through various stations, including Constellation Creation, where they built constellations from toothpicks and marshmallows, Rocket Launchers, and Star Finders to explore the October night sky.

This interactive day sparked curiosity and enthusiasm as students prepared to dive deeper into their study of space.
