On September 24, 2024, the Bethel-Tate girls soccer team earned a hard-fought 1-0 victory over CNE in a defensive battle. The game’s lone goal came just two minutes into the match when senior Clayre Weeks found the back of the net, capitalizing on a perfectly placed corner kick from sophomore Maddie Fischer.

Junior goalkeeper Ally Thompson was a force in the net, making 12 saves and earning the shutout with a flawless performance. Thompson's efforts, combined with a strong team defense, kept CNE scoreless throughout the match.

With this victory, Bethel-Tate remains unbeaten in conference play, improving to 6-0-1 in the SBAAC, tied for first place with Williamsburg. Their overall record now stands at 9-1-2.

The Tigers will next face Clinton Massie on Thursday, September 26 at 7:00 p.m. at home.
