The Bethel-Tate Tigers wrestling team competed in the Washington Courthouse Bracket Tournament on January 18, 2025, finishing 13th overall with a team score of 50 points. The tournament featured a strong lineup of 20 teams from across the region.
Several Tigers wrestlers delivered solid performances throughout the day. Gunner Troxell (132 lbs) secured a fifth-place finish, pinning his opponent in 2:15 in his final match. Jeremiah Bohman (215 lbs) also earned a fifth-place spot after winning by default. At 150 lbs, Landen Collins put together a strong effort, earning a major decision victory (10-2) in the consolation semifinals before finishing fourth overall. In the heavyweight division, Parker Harvey (285 lbs) picked up a win with a pin in 1:30 during the consolation rounds.
The Tigers will look to build on this experience as they prepare for their next match against Clinton-Massie on Thursday night at the historic Murphy Theatre in Wilmington, Ohio, with action starting at 6:00 PM.
