Mrs. Patrick students are learning how rocks are weathered by water and by movement. A granola bar was used to represent a rock. The granola bar was broken into pieces and put into the water bottle, shaken and then the clear water became cloudy (weathering and erosion).

Once again, Empower Youth is teaming up with the staff and teachers of Bethel-Tate
Schools to offer a supply of meals and snacks for children over the weekends and
extended breaks, free of charge. Bags are distributed on the last school day before the weekend (mostly Fridays but on long weekends it’s Thursdays.)
Any child enrolled in a Bethel-Tate School can receive these weekly bags of food. If
